Pat Matthews

Mr. Matthews is the Principal Consultant of Civil, State, Local Government and Commercial Sector Operation for DSoft Technology supporting non-DoD government customs as the federal, state and local levels, commercial, and non-profit organizations. His applications and web development teams serve several federal agencies that include the Department of Agriculture, Department of Commerce, Department of Transportation, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Prior to joining DSoft Technology in 2018, Pat managed applications development for several Colorado state agencies as a senior leader within the Governor’s Office of Information Technology where he assessed service gaps, determined root causes, and developed a strategic roadmap to efficiently align IT resources along business functions for improved service delivery at eight departments.

After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1988, Pat served for 20 years as an Army officer in tactical infantry and aviation units in Iraq and Korea with combat service in Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm in 1990-1991 and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003-2004. He is rated in several rotary wing aircraft, to include the AH-64D Longbow Apache and is a graduate of the US Army Ranger School. His multi-service experience includes four Office of the Secretary of Defense joint test and evaluation projects developing and testing tactics, techniques, and procedures for suppression of enemy air defenses, maritime domain awareness, maritime threat response, and integrated air and missile defense systems.

Pat is a service-disabled Veteran and is professionally certified in project management, systems engineering, knowledge management, ITIL, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
